Windows 10: Where is WIndows 7 type file search?

Loved Windows 7 converted to windows 10 and cannot find a thing on my drive.Check indexing and it is always paused. SEARCH kicks me over to BING and to the internet. How do you find one stupid email in MS Outlook that you know is there searching for a word in its contents? Need a Windows 7 emulator for Windows 10.

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.

I would suggest you to run System File Checker. its a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restored corrupted files. Follow the steps below:

• Press Win + R on the keyboard
• Type CMD the hit OK
• Type: sfc/scannow at the Command Prompt.
