Windows 10: Where to buy MICROSOFT ACPI COMPLIANT CONTROL METHOD BATTERY

I have a Dell with Windows 7 installed. Some years ago my battery stopped holding a charge, unless it was plugged in to an electrical outlet AND connected to my laptop. If I unplugged it, it would die. I went online to find the right battery replacement. When I got it, it looked nothing like the one it came with, but it worked so I used it anyway. But it was a waste of money as the issue didn't go away, if I unplugged it died. I would like to buy an actual MICROSOFT ACPI-COMPLIANT CONTROL METHOD BATTERY. But when I Google that, everything that pops up says it's the same or just as good, etc.
