Windows 10: Where's my mail?

    Where's my mail?


    Don't know if I selected the correct Category/Topics. If not please move and inform me.

    My wife has a Live mail account, not Outlook, that she's had for years.

    Everything's been fine until the recent update. She has always gotten multiple emails from her FB friends, FB games, creditors, etc. Now, when she opens her email, nothing's there. I decided to check what's happening by sending her an email from my gmail account. Hmmm. It comes right back to me in my gmail.

    Any idea what's going on?

    Hello Adam,

    This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Where's my mail? :)

    In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

    Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hey Shawn,
    I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
    Go figure!

    Where's my mail?

    Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

    When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
