Windows 10: WHFB Pin remove greyed out and dont have option to click forgot password.

I am setting up Windows Hello for Business through Local GPO for testing, then will enable it for my organization. But unfortunately I dont have option to remove the PIN configured earlier. Through lot of suggestions from MS forum, I tried to click the fixing PIN problem, but it take me to the MS page with instructions

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

How to SWITCH login method from PIN to password

If you get to step #5 and find that there is no option to remove the pin, this worked for me:

• Click "I forgot my PIN"
• Enter your account password where prompted
• When prompted to create a new PIN, click "Cancel"

This removed the existing PIN and went back to using the account password to log in and unlock the lock screen.
