  1. Which Bluetooth services do I need to keep running?

I was wondering which of the Bluetooth services do I need to keep running in order to use Bluetooth? While looking around in the classic control panel, in the "Devices and Printers" page, you have an option to "Add a device". This worked flawlessly. I do like to stop services I don't need on my computer, and noticed that if I stop some, the Bluetooth page in the Windows settings got broken.

I don't care if the Windows settings page gets broken, as long as I can add my devices via the control panel. Which services do I need to keep running in order for Bluetooth to work?

    Bluetooth Services

I've been using the audio gateway on my phone for a while, but when I actually looked through the list of services it does provide, I found it to be quite large. For some reason, my computer doesn't support many of these, such as remote control etc.

I'm pretty sure it has more or less to do with my bluetooth adapter, because it gives me only a small list of the total services it can accept. Anybody have any idea how I can add more?

As an additional troubleshooting step, we suggest that you try to change the Startup type for Bluetooth Support Service as Automatic. Here are the steps:

    • In the search box, type services and click on the result.
    • Select and double-click Bluetooth Support Service.
    • Under the Startup type, click on the drop-down menu and change it to
      Automatic.
    • Restart your computer.

For any results, please send us a response.

    Hi,

This issue occurs if there's any software conflicts on your device. We suggest that you follow these steps and check if the issue persists:

    • Click on Start, in the start search box type Services and then press enter.
    • In the list of services, select the Bluetooth Support Service.
    • Right click on the Bluetooth Support Service and then click on properties.
    • Start the service if not started and change the Startup type to
      automatic
      .

Once you're done, update us with the result.
