  2. usb ports not recognising devices

Hi, for some reason all my usb ports have stopped recognising devices. The USB ports will still provide power, ie, I can charge my iphone but they wont recognise anything else. mouse, keyboard, docking station etc.

    I have tried.

    1. updating drivers
    2. unisnatlling and reinstalling drivers
    3. adjusting power settings

Nothing seems to work, any suggestions would be very welcome.

    Cheers

    Rob

Sony WH-H910N h.ear headphones not recognised as an Audio Device

    Hi Dan,

I continued my search & even though this related to Bose Headphones it worked for my Sony headphones.

    Redirecting

    Method 1: Check services.

    • Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key and the R key together.
    • Type SERVICES.MSC and hit the Enter key.
Check each of the following services and ensure that they are in running state. You may also restart the services if they are already running.

    • Bluetooth Support Service
    • Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service
    • Bluetooth Handsfree Service (this service may or may not be available on your computer depending on the Windows 10 version).
    • BluetoothUserService_8c55026

Method 2: Check if the headset is in disabled state.

    • Right click on the Volume icon (bottom right corner) and select Sounds.
    • If the headset is not listed under the playback devices, right click on the empty space of the window and select Show disabled devices which should list the device.
    • Right click on it and select Enable.
    • Again right click on the device name and select Set as default device.

Method 3: Remove and repair headset.

    • Go to settings->Devices->Bluetooth & other devices.
    • Under Bluetooth, select the device you’re having problems with, select Remove device and clickYes.
    • To re-add the device, go to Action center, select Connect and then select your device.
    • Follow any more instructions that might appear. Otherwise, you're done and connected.

    Method 4: Update/Reinstall Bluetooth drivers.

If the above steps does not fix the issue, you may try updating or reinstalling the Bluetooth drivers of your computer. I would suggest you to refer the article on Fix
    Bluetooth problems in Windows 10
. Kindly refer section '6' to update your system's Bluetooth drivers. You can also refer the subsection Audio under Troubleshoot problems with Bluetooth accessories and
check if it is helpful to you.

    Thanks

Sony wf-1000xm3 earphones not detected as an output device

    Hi Kasra Djadidian,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. I understand that you are having trouble connecting your Sony wf-1000xm3 earphones to your Surface Pro 9 with Windows 11.

First, may I know which Surface Pro 9 configuration do you have? Intel or 5G?

Based on the information you provided, it seems that the issue is with the compatibility of your Sony earphones with Windows 11. However, we can try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.

Here are some possible causes and solutions that you can try:

    1. Check for updates: Make sure that your Surface Pro 9 and Sony earphones are running on the latest software updates. You can check for updates by going to Settings > Windows Update. For your Sony earphones, you can check for updates using the Sony Headphones Connect app.

    2. Reset your Sony earphones: Try resetting your Sony earphones by following these steps:

    • Put your earphones in the charging case.
    • Press and hold the button on the charging case until the indicator flashes white.
    • Take out your earphones from the charging case and try to connect them again.

    3. Remove other Bluetooth devices: If you have other Bluetooth devices connected to your Surface Pro 9, try removing them and then connect your Sony earphones again.

    4. Reinstall Bluetooth drivers: Try reinstalling the Bluetooth drivers on your Surface Pro 9 by following these steps:

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand the Bluetooth category.
    • Right-click on your Bluetooth device and select Uninstall device.
    • Restart your Surface Pro 9 and the Bluetooth drivers will be automatically reinstalled.

If none of the above solutions work, you can try contacting Sony support for further assistance.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Kind regards,
    Marrion
