    Which i7-12700H & RTX 3060 laptop to buy-MSI Crosshair 15 or ASUS TUF F17 (2022)?


    I have chosen 2 laptops from amazon, and those are-
    1. MSI Crosshair 15 B12UEZ-677IN
    2. ASUS TUF Gaming F17 (2022) FX707ZM-HX030WS
    Both have similar specs, though the-
    1. MSI has a QHD display 165Hz, RTX 3060 with Optimus, DDR4 3200 MHz RAM
    2. Asus TUF has FHD display 144Hz, RTX 3060 with MUX switch, DDR5 4800MHz RAM

    Which one to choose?

    New Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti not recognized, need help troubleshooting

    Last year I got on a waiting list. In October I received two notifications at the same time. I had 48 hours to pick either the:
    1) ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Republic of Gamers Strix V2 OC
    2) ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 TUF GAMING V2 OC

    I chose the RTX 3060 Ti and paid $650 USD.

    I could have bought the card anytime elsewhere but there was no way I was going to pay the buy now price then of $1000-$1100 USD.

    VIDEO TDR FAILURE on i7-11370H, Nvidea 3060 Laptop

    Bought a new laptop. ASUS TUF DASH F15
    Recently encountering VIDEO TDR FAILURE.

    11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11370H @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
    These are the minidump files:

    Minidumps.zip

    Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics
    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU
    16.0 GB RAM

    I'd appreciate any kind of guidance on the matter. I read a similar post to mine where I had to completely reinstall the video card drivers using some external program, but I'm afraid to mess it up so I'd appreciate precise instructions.
