    when im trying to Advanced startup menu it's showing another language ..
    firstly showed preparing automatic repair in english then suddenly changed another langauge not only "preparing automatic repair"
    All are changed another langauge in Advanced startup settings. why? is it reason because of windows 10 update?

    PS: i got "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

  2. Windows 10 not activated and black screen

    You need to boot into Normal mode.

    If you have problems booting into Normal Mode, try performing a Startup repair.

    Click Start > Settings > Update & security > Recovery, under Advanced Startup, click Restart now.

    Click Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup repair

    Follow the on screen instructions.

  3. UEFI Firmware Settings

    If it's not available at Settings>Update & Security>Recovery>Advanced Startup to Enter UEFI FIrmware, then try the hotkey at boot shown in this same chart as for

    BIOS Boot Menu Key,
    which is the only key that should be used to boot media.

    @Kari is our house expert with multi language systems, and language packs(as he speaks so many different languages), now that I mentioned tagged him here, maybe he will pop in and have an idea what's going on.

    If you open a Command Prompt (Admin) or Powershell (Admin) and run:

    dism /online /get-intl

    what are the results?

    Which language is this at Advanced Startup boot & why?

    Absolutely no idea about the language in this case, my guess is either Russian or Bulgarian.

    Sorry, I misunderstood.

    Anyway, my answer will remain the same: not a faintest clue! System language can different than user's display language but in that case it would be shown as installed language.

    You might want to explain your sysprep trick, like you did me, after which the OP can do a repair install in the wanted language, to get rid of all the left overs. I went from German to US English that way.

    Hi folks

    @remostalin.

    From the picture (Lenovo) it looks like there's a custom BIOS message -- sometimes these appear for example on Corporate Laptops at Boot as they use the individual company's logo as a splash screen.

    @Kari

    Somewhere there must be a setting to change this - either in the Laptop's BIOS or there's some start up file read at boot before the boot menu actually gets displayed -- I think it's called "The boot Splash Screen" but I'm not sure. The file will probably be a hidden one. Have a look for a file ending with a suffix of scr (.scr) or something like that.

    Try this cmd if you have a a UEFI type laptop (non MBR type boot)
    bcdboot C:\Windows /s c: / f UEFI

    that should show you any logo at boot. Note the actual splash screen comes in BEFORE the logon screen / Lock screen and could be hard coded in BIOS -- you'll just have to look.

    As with Kari I think the language is probably Russian but could be bulgarian.

    I know Linux distros can use optional boot splash screens so I'm pretty sure this is a standard Windows feature too as companies like to have their own "Marques" displayed where possible --e.g Dell laptops on boot show a DELL logo.

    Cheers
