  1. Which partitions are safe to delete after a Windows 10 Fresh Install?

Hello everyone,I would like to ask you a quick question regarding my ASUS PC and concerning, more in detail, its Windows 10 OS that I've just reinstalled. I came back from Windows 11, as many work and university apps I had been using were not working correctly. During the installation, I selected to delete everything in the system and install the new OS freshly. After the install, I looked up on my disk partitions and found the arrangement attached. My question is: which partitions are safe to delete, in order to save up some space? I am planning on installing Linux, and that's the reason why I

    Delete my W10 Partition

Do you want to safely delete your Windows 10 partition and use only Windows 7?

If Yes, then boot to your Windows 7, run msconfig, go to "Boot" tab, you will see something like this :

Choose "Windows 7" and click "Set as default", then choose "Windows 10" and click "Delete", restart if asked or necessary.
Now the boot information for Windows 10 has been deleted and you can safely delete your Windows 10 partition (make sure no important files are on the Win10 partition). To delete and extend your partition you can use many partition manager tools.

Partition SSD during windows 10 install

I'm assembling a new PC and running a fresh windows 10 install. I'd like to know how to partition the ssd into 2 separate partitions during the windows install (I'm using a bootable usb drive to install Windows).

I want to know if I need to input specific settings for those partitions or if it's all automatic?

I need one partition for Windows on and another for my documents. The ssd has 960gb size.

So I'm guessing it has about 60gb over-provisionning. I could leave out a bit more, but it probably doesn't matter that much
