Windows 10: Which Policy is currently blocking logins to the microsoft store

We have a user that wants to purchase the HEVC Video extensions for 99 cents. When it comes to free apps no login is required but for paid apps we blocked the ability to log in and now that we want to unblock it we cannot find the policy that is causing the problem.

Unable to login to Microsoft store

I understand that you cannot login to Microsoft Store using the account that you made the purchase with.

Usually, we see this message when you try to login to Microsoft Store on the Windows 10 computer that is configured under domain with certain group policy restrictions.

For clarity, please let us know:

Are you using a computer that is configured under domain of your organization?

Do you login to Windows using a different account?

If you are not using a domain computer, are you able to see the purchase in the Microsoft Account?

If your computer is configured under domain, then there could be
group policy restrictions that are enforced on your system.

Update to 10.1.1 requirements for product search terms.

Update to 10.1.1 with new policies pertaining to product metadata including title or name, icon, screenshots, descriptions.

Update to 10.2.2 adding clarifying language to current policy.

Update to 10.2.9, to add in a requirement that installer binary products (.msi or .exe) must be digitally signed with a code signing certificate that chains up to a certificate issued by a Certificate Authority (CA) that is part of the Microsoft Trusted Root Program.

Update to 10.8.7 to prohibit charging fees in the Store for open-source or other software that is generally available for free and restrict irrationally high pricing.

Update to 10.13.1 to remove requirement that games submitted via the Creators program must use XBL.

New 11.3.3 added policy prohibiting products whose intent is to provide content related to information, news, or current events in the real world from disseminating misinformation.

Update to 11.11 to add reference to use of International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) questionnaire during product submission to garner appropriate product rating.

block all updates except the ability to login in the microsoft store

thans you for your repply but thats not what i want. i want to be abble to block all the updates from windows but be able to keep updates from the store and to download apps (be able to login in the store and download apps and update them) i use windows update blocker(Windows Update Blocker v1.8 but it blocks me everything included the microsoft store it seams that it block a service that prevents me from login with my account to the microsoft store - - - Updated - - -

Hi, 1. When I had Windows Update blocked to stay on build 1903 and avoid some troublesome updates being released, I used a script - Sledeghammer. That disabled the Store as well. However it was relatively easy to use a script option so I could then use the Store, and when I'd finished, again block updates. 2. If you do not have Store access, then you can still install Store apps without the Store. E.g. Memory's Tech Tips: How to Install Microsoft Store Apps Without the Microsoft Store (Windows 10/11 Tutorial) 3. If you had Pro (and you don't) you could 'block' Windows updates using group policy (set to 'Notify'). The Store remains available.

I tried this was a headache installing all the dependencies needed
