Windows 10: Which service pack to download for offline update?

I'm going to my Grandparents house this weekend to get their computers updated. They are on a very slow municipal Wifi and a metered 4G connection that maybe get 3-10meg depending on how the wind blows and how many are on.

When I was there for Thanksgiving and tried to DL 1903 it kept killing the connection and I'd have to reset the card, modem, PC.

At Christmas time I brought a USB drive with 1903 and 1909 but I got an error that the update wouldn't work or wasn't compatible.

They have 1 Surface pro i7 gen4 on W10P, a Dell Laptop on W10P and dell desktop on W10H. All 64Bit. They all desperately need updating (1809?) but they'd kill me if I left and their computers we're working EXACTLY the same as when I got there. Old software or not.

I downloaded the 1903 & 1909 updates from http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com that failed on install. Was this the wrong place to get it? Can someone recommend a foolproof file set I can put on a USB drive and know it's going to update?

Note: Yes I know I should let the PC's download through the normal update service, I've spent COUNTLESS hours trying to get it to work on 1809. It is what it is.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) Release Dates

The guys over at Neowin.net have managed to get their hands on the internal schedule for the release of Windows XP Service Pack 3.

• April 14, 2008: Support is available for the release version of Service Pack 3 for Windows XP
• April 21, 2008: Original Equipment Manufacturers, Volume License, Connect, and MSDN and TechNet subscribers
• April 29, 2008: Microsoft Update, Windows Update, Download Center
• June 10, 2008: Automatic Updates
