Windows 10: Which third party/ms programs should I need?

Hello, im using w10 x64, rx6500 xt 4 gb new series with something called version 4.0 gpu, 16 gb of 3200mhz ram, intel i5 11400f cpu. I wonder which other apps/programs I "have to" have to use games, emulators without crash. Let me help you about third party programs im asking for to make it clear for you: They are like visual basic and directx, sometimes they become a must to install. That kind of applications Im looking for. Not like something makes things easier. Im looking for "must to install for games, emulator" programs.Thank you.Note: It is because the emulator called Ga**L**p to play

Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

3rd party AV program

The message you are describing may be observed if another antivirus program is still installed or there are remnants of a third party antivirus program still installed.

Note the statement "If you want to use Windows Defender Antivirus, uninstall all of your other antivirus programs and Windows Defender Antivirus will automatically turn on. You may be asked to restart your device."

Go to Security and Maintenance, look in 'Security' and see what program is listed under Virus Protection. Windows Defender will not be enabled and functioning properly if there is a program other than Windows Defender listed.
