Which windows type should I choose for compatibility for 640x480 video when my pc is windows 10 in order to play a video game?

Compatibility problem (640x480 resolution)

I made the mistake of changing a program(Hearthstone Card game) to run in 640x480 compatibility mode. How do I return it to normal Windows 10 mode? Unchecking 640x480 did not work. Deleting and reinstalling
the game didn't work. Restarting PC didn't work. Removing registry entries with the program's name didn't work.

Windows returns to normal resolution when exiting the program. My question is how to get the program cleared of compatibility options that
I shouldn't have clicked in the first place. Unclicking 640x480 won't work since it doesn't show as being clicked.

 

N95 and video playback at 640x480

MP4 playback at 320x240 works flawless, however 640x480 seems to give me trouble independent of the bitrate to encode the data.

I was wondering what the citeria are to allow MP4, H264/AVC with aac, flawless playback on my TV? The video recorded from the phone it self seems to do it alright. But even at the same bitrate settings there seems to be a difference. And videomanager from Nokia
can't encode at 640x480 (Besides being a bit slow).

Any suggestions from the Nokia techies? About baseline settings and more for the encoding?

Videos not working on windows 10

1) Does this issue occur on Internet Explorer too?

2) Are you able to play the videos which are there in the local drive using Windows media player?

This issue might be because of corrupted graphic drivers.

I suggest you to run the video troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  In the left pane click on

• 
  Select Video Playback.
  
• 
  Follow the prompted steps to troubleshoot this issue.
  

I suggest you to update the graphics card drivers/display drivers from manufacturer website and check if it resolves the issue.

  Open Device Manager.

  Expand ‘Display Adapter’.
  
• 
  Locate the display driver.
  
• 
  Right-click on the display card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’
  

If issue still persists, I would suggest you to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it works.

Follow the steps provided below to install the drivers in compatibility mode:

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select Windows operating system from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
