Windows 10: Which windows version will be the best match for Intel G3220 Desktop PC?

Hi,This is Md. Al-Amin. I've been using Windows 10 Pro on my Home desktop PC for more than 1.5 years. It was earlier Windows 8.1.Nowadays more than 6 months my PC's performance is drained out.Which windows version will be the best match for Intel G3220 Desktop PC?CPU: ASUS K30AD 2016Processor: Intel G3220Main board: ASUSRAM: 8GB 4+4HDD: 512GBWaiting for a quick reply. Windows 10 Desktop PC keeps installing Windows 10 version 1709 and KB16299

Windows 10

Version 1511

OS Build 10586.1176

PC Desktop

Acer Veriton M275

Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E6700 @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz

RAM: 3.00 GB

64-bit OS, x64-based processor

Windows 10 Update Assistant suggests to install version 1709.

I prompt it to download...

....THEN I get a prompt to install.

....THEN I allow it to install.

.... THEN I get a prompt to restart the PC.

.... THEN I restart the PC

.... PC is now rebooted. works good.

.....THEN Windows Update Assistant suggests to install version 1709...... AGAIN.

.... Process repeats again and again.

Things I have checked.

1.) ResetWUEng.cmd // I reset the Windows Update Components

2.) I used get-hotfix in PowerShell. All installed updates that was listed matched with the list under "Control Panel >Uninstall or change a program > View installed updates"

3.) I used wushowhide.diagcab // no hidden updates listed

In summary, The PC device keeps asking to install 1709. It also suggested to install KB16299 (related to 1709?). It installs. It reboots. It's on. It repeats.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Desktop icons snap to 2nd display after update to Intel VGA Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) 10.18.15.4279 dated ‎7‎/‎26‎/‎2016

To isolate your concern, we suggest that you set again your primary monitor as it might have been changed after updating your Intel driver. Here's how:

• Right-click on an empty space on the Desktop, then click on
  Display settings.
  
• Choose your primary monitor. If you cannot tell which monitor is which, click the
  Identify button to display the number on the display to match them with.
  
• Check the Make this my main display box, then click
  Apply. You will notice that the Windows Start icon will now be in that numbered display.
