Hi..I am using Lenovo Ideapad 330. Here is a problem I am facing.While the headphone is plugged in, there is no sound output from the Laptop Speaker even Speaker is selected as the output device. But while I disconnect the headphone, Speaker works.I tried all possible things but nothing worked.But if a Bluetooth headphone is connected, I can easily swap between output devices from the sound option in Windows 10 and both the Bluetooth headphone and Laptop speaker work. But in the case of wired headphones, the issue happens.Please help me to fix the issue. Thank you.

I have an HP laptop with windows 10. When my headphones are plugged in, the speakers are still playing. When I go to sounds, the only device listed is the speakers. How can I silence the speakers when the headphones are plugged in.

Hello everyone, and thanks for taking a look at this.

As the title suggests, my laptop randomly just stopped providing sound output. I have the red icon on volume notification icon and the hover message reads "No speakers or headphones are plugged in"

I have tried everything for 2 days from the top search and Youtube results on this problem, including:
Checking disabled speakers
Loading default BIOS
Sound troubleshooter
Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers

But nothing is working. Let me how I can provide more information for a better diagnosis. Thank you so much!

So that's the sucker, download driver from MS, Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version - Windows 10 Forums and follow instructions ti install it.

You'll get an option to mute speakers while external output like headphones is plugged in.
