Windows 10: while my charger is plugged in , my laptop doesnot charge, it shows 0% plugged in

Discus and support while my charger is plugged in , my laptop doesnot charge, it shows 0% plugged in in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i am very stressed i have uninstalled all the drivers shut the laptop down took the battery out and restart again nothing works the adapter is also new...     i am very stressed i have uninstalled all the drivers shut the laptop down took the battery out and restart again nothing works the adapter is also new please help me out

    CHARGER PLUGGED IN BUT NOT CHARGING

    When i plug in my charger to my laptop ,it indicates that the charger is plugged in but not charging. Please help

    Hi, thank you for your suggestion. I followed all the steps mentioned by you. The issue stopped temporarily. The issue started again today. The moment I switched the laptop on, the charging icon was showing that the laptop is charging even though the charger
    was not plugged in. The charging light was also on. I had to plug in the charger and switch it on and off to stop this automatic charging.

    Is there any other way to solve this issue? Also, is there a chance that there is bug in the latest update?

    I am worried that my laptop battery will get spoiled.

    0% availability (plugged in, charging)

    If the battery is old it might have run its course but if that's not the can do the following to check what the problem

    Computer laptop that is plugged in but not charging

    • Shutdown the laptop
    • Remove the battery ( note some batteries cannot easily be removed you may need to consult your laptop manual on how to remove them)
    • Clean the battery and terminals with a dry clean cloth
    • Put the battery back
    • Turn on the laptop
    • If it still say plugged in but not charging dont panick continue to follow more steps below
    Reinstall Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery.

    This is the software that control battery settings power mode and so on
