    homegroup on windows 10

    well it use to work for me but my new comp had a problem and I had to reinstall windows after that it no longer worked.. but I've done everything I can think of besides re-reinstalling windows again so I'm just stuck...

    While your description is short and sweet, and it just may be me, I really don't understand issue except it sounds like windows 10 won't re-install.

    Could you flesh this out a bit.

    You may want to read this tutorial on doing a clean install.

    I suspect you mean you can only install it in legacy BIOS mode and not UEFI mode? The most common cause of that is the USB flash drive being used for Windows installation is NTFS formatted instead of FAT32.
