I have a windows 10 pc. I am using Acer Nitro 7 laptop. While updating my to windows 11 I was stuck in 27% for too long. So I tried to restart my pc. And now my pc is not starting anymore. It's showing undoing changes made to your computer... Message and it shows a blue screen when it ends and then my computer restarts and it shows the same message m so I'm basically stuck in an infinite loop and my computer never starts. Please help me fix this issue so that I can go back to using my last working version of windows

i've been trying to install windows 11 on my laptop and each time it always gets stuck at 27% in the getting updates: checking for updates part.

i have tried the windows update troubleshooter, and i have also used the net stop & net start method for wuauserv, cryptsvc, bits and msiserver. it hasn't changed anything.

i am installing from the iso available in the microsoft website, x64 and english us language.

edit: solved, it's the first reply that suggests the "change how setup handles updates" button. for some reason the button to say if that's the answer to the post won't appear for me, and i'm not sure why.

windows stuck at "Restarting..." for long after received microsoft update

it's a desktop computer; and remote users connect to via remote desktop;

however, every time after received Microsoft update, the system will stuck at "Restarting..." for whole night, user has to manually force shutdown the computer and turn on.

Is there any hint or possible steps to trouble shooting this issue?

i have cancelled the installation and tried to rerun the setup file, but now it's just stuck at the windows 11 logo at the beginning

edit: nevermind, it just seems to have taken REALLY long to start preparing the setup.
