Windows 10: While upgrading my one for the test Server system, the system license is revoked

While performing an upgrade on one of our test server systems, we encountered an issue where the system license was unexpectedly revoked. The upgrade process was proceeding normally until the system flagged the license as invalid or no longer active. This has impacted our ability to continue with testing and system validation.Details:No hardware changes were made prior to the license being revoked.The system was previously activated and functioning without any licensing issues.Please assist in diagnosing the root cause of the license revocation and advise on the necessary steps to reinstate th

Enterprise license Revoke for bulk systems

Hi Team,

we have purchased PC with Windows Professional OS with License and we have upgraded to Enterprise now we selling the systems so want to revoke the Enterprise license and we have bulk systems so to do so what is the good option to do so.

 

Revoking all Device CAL licenses issue

we have Windows Server 2012 with License Server activated on two Domain Controllers which they are working as Active/Standby.

We noticed that our client cannot get Device CAL license since all licenses are issued. We tried to revoke licenses but only 20% of licenses can be revoked and we need to wait till April 2019 in order to revoke more.



We need your support on the following:

1. How to revoke all issued Device CAL licenses on Windows 2012 License server?
2. How to revoke specific issued license forcibility even we reach 20% of revoke scenario?
3. How to change expiry date for issued licenses?
4. Currently we have 20 Device CAL licenses, where 10 is installed on DC1 and 10 is installed on DC2. Is this standard Microsoft scenario when having two DC servers working as Active/Standby? Is there any possibility to install the same 20 CAL licenses
   on both DC1 and DC2 separately?

Windows 11 says RDG Server certificate is expired or revoked, but it's not.

I have a server running RDG Server and RRAS using the same certificate. Windows 10 and Windows 7 users have no issues using either RDG or VPN.

I have a user who just upgraded to Windows 11 and receives "Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Remote Desktop Gateway server's certificate has expired or has been revoked. Contact your network administrator for assistance"

I have verified both by examining the certificate, and by using the provider's test (DigiCert) that the certificate is valid and not revoked.

I installed Windows 11 on a test machine and receive the same message when trying to connect to RDG.. I am able to connect to the very same certificate using VPN against RRAS.

I advised the user to revert to Windows 10 and she's now able to connect again.

Help! Going to advise all users to not upgrade at this point.
