Windows 10: WHite background displays as light green/blue

All of a sudden my Windows 10 laptop has started displaying white backgrounds in Explorer and the browser etc as a sort of light blue/green tint instead of white.


Note that as far as I can tell it only does it for pure white ie. 0xFFFFFF, where there is an almost white, such as the shadow around windows, it displays properly.


Any suggestions as to what could be happening here?


PS. I tried checked the "Colors" registry settings in [COLOR=rgba34, 34, 34, 1]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\Colors and they are both "255 255 255"[/COLOR]

Screen background color without light one!

Hello all:

I am favouring light green/blue color as my screen background. in w10 there are only 24 dark colors for background to select. Where is light color for background?

Besides, below the 24-background-color, some time there is an extra white color, but not always. where does the white color to hide sometime. --- Zhao

Lumia 1520 blue spot light leakage

hi Guys,would like to know more from you guys facing the same issue and should i get my Lumia 1520 replaced as its just 2 months old..... I have a blue white spot on upper left side of the display mostly visible on white back grounds also you can see it
in full red blue green white background from corners as it appears to be a white spot... no dead pixels as images are moving through it but mostly noticeable on white backgrounds.even in low light its noticeable and annoys me very much.it is also visible while
browsing web on IE also there is light shadowed/leak from capacitive buttons....

Well, I don't use a tablet.
My PC is listed in specs.
The OP was expressing a dislike of a white explorer background.
Someone else posted it was necessary to edit the registry to make changes.
Still others suggested it is a good idea to use a shell replacement ?
And another thought recompiling the explorer.exe binary using an editor makes sense ?
What ?

Using high contrast, it is easy
and a simple few clicks to make all kinds of changes.

It is also easy and simple to switch from default non colorized theme
to high contrast mode. (one click)
