    I'm running windows 10 Pro x86-64 Anniversary Update. I think my problem started with the cumulative update last week.

    Make sure you autohide your taskbar in it's Properties. The best way to see my problem is to maximize a window and move your pointer to where your taskbar will popup or for that matter to hide it again. I get a white flashing line at the bottom of the taskbar when the taskbar un-hides or hides. It might take a few tries to see it. If I don't maximize the window, and the bottom of the windows isn't over where the taskbar come up, I get no white line.

    Anyone else see this happening especially with AU and the latest cumulative update?

    I have a flashing line on the bottom of my task bar, an ever since that showed up, my computer isn't acting right. It's like when you have an icon in use, there's a highlighted white bar on the bottom of that icon, but this is just the flashing white bar.

    Taskbar Autohide erratic after Win 10 Fall Creator's Update

    Once hidden, the taskbar will not reappear in all situations since the update. For example, when my Chrome browser is open full screen, the taskbar is non-responsive (remains hidden). Solution is to close the app that is "blocking" the taskbar from rolling
    up, which obviously is an unacceptable solution.

    Also, the Cortana input box on the left side of the taskbar, which is now white, does not completely disappear when the taskbar is hidden, and there is an annoying line of white at the bottom left of my display.

    Guess I'll have to eliminate some of my startup stuff to see if this is the cause.

    You can certainly try all the standard ways to check for the possible effect of installed things... and certainly I found 3 small progs incompatible after installing the upgrade.. but you may know a number of bugs have been experienced with the upgrade, and MS is 'working on some'.

    You may end up wishing to roll back to the previous build- you have 10 days from upgrading- and defer upgrades until the dust settles.

    Note: is your problem possibly somehow related to this?
