Windows 10: White line in Explorer

Hello collective intelligence,

I recently re-installed Windows 10 on my laptop through the inbuilt recovery function. After that, the Explorer app suddenly had a white line at the top, that wasn't there before (it also doesn't appear on my desktop PC). It normally wouldn't bother me since it's invisible in light mode, but as you can see, it looks kinda bad in dark mode.

Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it? I looked through the settings many times but can't seem to find anything, also googling didn't help. When I hover the line the coursor changes into the vertical double-headed arrow symbol, indicating that I could drag it, but I can't.

I'd appreciate any help!

White line in File Explorer (Dark Mode)

On my File Explorer, there's this strange white line as seen in the picture. Anybody got any suggestions

how to fix it?

I suggest you to update your Display drivers and check if the issue is resolved. You can refer the below steps to update the driver software.

Steps:-

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manager.
• Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.
• Restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved.
