Windows 10: White line over some desktop folders?

Discus and support White line over some desktop folders? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; A singular horizontal gradient line suddenly appeared at the bottom of some of my desktop folders.     White line over some desktop folders?


    A singular horizontal gradient line suddenly appeared at the bottom of some of my desktop folders. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

    white line under icons on taskbar

    icons on taskbar in windows 10 has a white line under all programs list in it that are open, is there a way of removing it?

    White lines appearing on the edge of windows folder

    Hi community. I'm on windows 10 Recently purchased 2 new Samsung M5 PC monitors. And I'm having an issue where ever full black is displayed on the monitor, white lines are appearing, whether it is in a software program, or in general on my screen. In this images I captured, the white lines are noticeable within the red rectangle area pointed out by the arrows. PS: The issue happens even when I swap the monitors. I also recorded a video, which shows when I enable full black colour these Lines appear.

    White line over some desktop folders?

    Cannot change desktop icon

    Sometimes a desktop icon changes from what it was to a plain white folder. Might be something I did but not sure what.

    To change it to the icon I want, I go:
    1. Rt-click icon > Properties > Change icon
    2. I select the icon I want from the thumbnails of icons.
    3. Click OK
    4. Click Apply
    But the icon does not change. It just stays looking like a white folder.
    HOWEVER, if I pin the icon to the taskbar, the icon on the taskbar does look like the icon I selected in step-2. So the change is registered with Win10 but the icon on the desktop just doesn't change.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?
