    White noise in my headphones


    I'm using Serafim A1 headphones on windows 10, which in essence are fine, but whenever I use the booster that comes with the headphones in the box I immediately get white noise. Is there something a problem with windows 10, or is it an issue with the company?

    Loud white noise from headphones

    After installing Windows 10 I have had this problem about three or four times. Suddenly, my headphones start making VERY LOUD white noise. It stops when I press mute button on my keyboard which mutes windows sounds. Then I have to restart my PC to be able
    to put the sounds on without getting the white noise. I believe it has something to do with my Xonar D1 drivers but I've installed the latest from Asus website. I have no idea what to do and I won't like to break my headphones with this.

    And by the way I have had the windows 10 running for a couple of months so it doesn't happen on a daily basis.

    P.S. I wasn't quite sure where to put this thread.

    White noise/static from all headphones in laptop

    Yesterday my headphone started making this loud white noise/static sound while plugged into my ASUS laptop. I tried changing headphones and the noise still persists, but when unplugged the speakers sound fine. None of the enhancements are on, the mic is
    turned off, and I've tried reinstalling the audio driver through troubleshooting to no avail. Is there anything else I can do?

    Every so often when I open a window [new tab] my computer will play white noise (babbling brook, chirping birds) and I don't know how to disable it / turn it off. Suggestions?
