I got the white screen and I tried to run explorer.exe and the message "C:\Users\Default\Desktop is unavailable" pops up and I dont know what to do

isolate your issue, can you perform and answer some questions below?

Can you check if your windows and driver are updated? There is a possibility that you had this issue due to the system and drivers are not updated.

Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and then select Check for updates.

For drivers, please check your PC, Laptop, or BIOS manufacturer to see if your current driver is compatible with your current system.

Have you tried restarting your Windows Explorer? Restarting Windows Explorer helps resolve your issues.

Press Shift+Ctrl+Esc to open the task manager, then scroll down the list to Windows Processes. Find the Windows Explorer, right-click on it, and hit restart.

If the above steps do not work, please try the steps below. If the first steps do not work, proceed to the next step.

1.) Repair all Windows apps via PowerShell

*Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager then click File

*Select "Run new task" then type: powershell

*Make sure to put a checkmark on the "Create this task with administrative privileges" box

*Copy and paste the command below one at a time then press Enter. Please ignore the red errors and let the process complete.

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register "$($_. InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode}

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_. InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Restart your computer

2.) Perform sfc and run the DISM command to check, scan, and restore the health of the system files by following the steps below.

*On powershell (admin), enter each command below:

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

sfc /scannow

After all has been processed, Restart your device

3.) Please perform a clean boot.

This C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop is unavailable error may occur due to corrupt or missing Windows files.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can follow these simple steps:

• Open File Explorer and navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile and check if it has the
  Desktop folder there.
• If the Desktop folder does not exist, then create a new folder and rename it as
  Desktop or copy it from C:\users\Default\Desktop.

Note: By default, C:\Users\Default is hidden. To unhide click on the View tab and check the
Hidden Items box.

After you have created the folder, it is required that you give full permission to the folder. You can follow these steps to give full permission:

• Right click on the folder, select Properties then click on the Security tab.
• Click on Edit.
• On the Permissions for Desktop window, select Everyone and then click on
  Add.
• In the Enter the object names to select dialog box, type
  Everyone and click on Check Names.
• Click OK.
