White solid rectangular border is applied to Start Menu and Setting items

Automatic upwards scrolling in Start Menu, and Settings. White solid rectangular border is applied to Start Menu and Setting items, and when pressing down on my keyboard/scrolling down the mouse wheel, the white border will always attempt to move upwards to the top of the screen.

  2. Solid White as a Background

    hey,

As I can see, no white background appears in the list of Solid colors.

You may google White picture, save it to the desktop and set it as desktop background.

I have added one image here also, if you can see.

  3. White Borders on right click menus

    Hi Chrom,

    Thank you for replying back.

We have reproduced the issue from our end and we found that it is by design that the border of the window, when accessed in taskbar is black with white border. However the thickness of the border varies.

I suggest you to run SFC Scan by following the steps from the link below and check if the issue is resolved.

SFC scan is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.
If a Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected. For example, some Windows functions may not work, or Windows may crash.

Perform SFC scan by following the steps from the link below:

Write back to us if you face further issues, we will be happy to assist.

    Thank you.

  4. White solid rectangular border is applied to Start Menu and Setting items

Disabling automatic black and white borders applied to photo thumbnails and native photo apps

    Hi Jacob,

One of the possible reasons why you see borders on thumbnail previews is because of its
image size. To better assist you with this issue, we need the answers to following questions:

    • Do all of your pictures have the same image size?
    • Does the border also apply to videos in File Explorer?

In the meantime, you can try to change the icon size to see if the borders on images will disappear. To do this, simply follow the steps below:

    • Right-click on your desktop and click on View.
    • Select Small icons.
    • Check File Explorer to see if the thumbnails still have borders.

We are looking forward to your response.
