    Who is John. How to get rid of him


    When I launch my computer and on the screen, where I enter my pin number to turn my computer on in the lower left corner, there is me and there is a person called John. John has been on this PC ever since I bought it from Costco. I go to settings accounts and I don’t see a John to remove that name. How do I get rid of that name on that initial logon screen

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
