    THIS COMPUTER WOULD HAVER NEVER CRASHED IF MICROSOFT HAD NOT HIJACKED THE FIRESTORM, A STAND ALONE VIEWER, AND IF MICROSOFT HAD NOT INSTALLED BAD UPDATES, AND IF THE CLICK TO RUN OFFICE HAD NOT OVERHEATED THE SYSTEM BLURRING UP GRAPHICS WHILE RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND WHEN IT HAD NEVER BEEN CLICKED TO RUN, THE FACT THAT THE CRASH HAPPENED AS SOON AS FIRESTORM WAS UNINSTALLED PROOVED THAT MICROSOFT HIJACKED NOT ONLY THE VIEWER TREATING IT AS A WEBVIEW2 BUT ALSO THE SIDE BY SIS CONFIGURATION ERRORS, THE DLLS AND HANDLERS, THE 0X80070002 ERRORS AND THE MISSING WEBVIEW2 ERRORS, THE FACT THAT BITS

    second life firestorm viewer


    I am trying to install the new version of firestorm 64-5-0-11-53634, but it fails to install stopping with error unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). I have tried all the fixes i can find by googling and the fix suggested on firestorm wiki, but nothing makes it work. Other exe files are loading fine just firestorm. I initially tried a clean install, but that and installing over an old version are not working. Any suggestions?

    How do I fix a firestorm viewer uninstal-reinstal issue?

    Hi Lisa,

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

    I would suggest you to reinstall the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    To uninstall the program refer to the below steps.

    Delete the program by following the steps below:

    1. Press "Windows" + "R". Type "appwiz.cpl" and press Enter.

    2. Select the program and click on Uninstall and follow the instruction on the screen.

    Then reinstall the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    Please follow the steps below for more information:

    • Right click on the setup file of the program and select
      Properties
    • Select Compatibility Tab
    • Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list
    • Click OK and run the setup.
