    Wht do I get a ".metadata" folder on my Desktop?


    A folder named '.metadata' keeps appearing on my Desktop. It contains two subfolders named 'app' and 'web' which in turn may contain the Desktop Icon Images of various applications such as Firefox, NZ Herald, and MAGIX Movie Edit Pro. What setting have I mis-set to cause this?My machine is Intel QuadCore i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz, 32 GB RAM, running MS Windows 10 Home v. 1803, build 17134.228 on an MSI B75MA-P45 motherboard with a SAMSUNG SSD main drive.It has RealTek High Definition Audio and a SAMSUNG U28D590D VDU driven by an NVIDIA QUADRO K620 Video Card. There is a Logitech C930 webcam and

    I just got my HTPC setup and I just added images for all my movies and I'm working on TV shows. But I now want to add metadata, I tried Yammm, but it did nothing. I would almost liek to just add my own. I want to have synopsis's even for my TV shows which I think all the programs out there only fetch info off IMBD. Any suggestions?

    Music Metadata grabber

    Been working on sorting movies/tv shows/music and looking for something thats free and grabs metadata for my music files. I could do it all manually, but having something that helps would be nice. Anyone got a suggestion?
