Windows 10: why a folder Xboxgames in my C disk is making multiple files even if i uninstalled every...

I have a xboxgames folder on my c disk which is creating multiple file name like - w64_black_garden_013e_0.pkg , w64_ , w64_cosmo_01e0_0.pkg , w64_client_startup_032b_0.pkg and hundreds more and making my c disk full they are creating in - C:\XboxGames\D3256350-2CB1-46C7-80BC-EF80C53C4608\Content\packages and all files gets deleted but they comes again and there is one file that dont gets deleted named - w64_edz_0293_0.pkg but sometimes it gets deleted but changes its names and come again *** moved from Gaming and Xbox / Games and gaming / Xbox on Windows***

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.

 

Make list of files in a folder

My impression is that what he wants is a list he can click on. To me that suggests creating one folder with shortcuts to the items in the various media folders.

And perhaps Motim wants that to be a dynamic list- i.e. always up to date with respect to changing content in those folders.

If so, this could be done using Autohotkey, with a script which scans through the files in each folder in turn and for each file use this command to create a shortcut:
