Windows 10: Why all my printer model converted to HP LaserJet M101-M106?

Dears,i woke up this morning to find out that all my printers have changed their models to HP M101-M106 despite i don't have this model installed and i have canon instead.On top of that, when i double click on them, it says "no task are available on this page".I think it occurred after an update for windows. 22H2 ver 22621.2715any ideas?

Install HP LaserJet 4M Plus

Printer is connected to router with EtherNet cable, was able to print test page which gives IP Address of: 10.0.0.81, and did find drivers but attempting to install with any of the LaserJet 4 drivers listed below, gives the error message, "Printer Driver was not installed".

This printer has both Postscript and PCL personalities.

Settings>Devices>Printers & Scanners>Add Printer and Scanner>[Clicked on the text, "the printer I want isn't listed"]>chose "Add a local printer" using existing port 10.0.0.81>did Windows Update and each of the following LaserJet drivers for this model of printer failed to install:

HP LaserJet 4 Plus
HP LaserJet 4/4M Plus PS 300
HP LaserJet 4/4M Plus PS 600
HP LaserJet 4/4M PS
HP LaserJet 4/4M PS (300 dpi)


the USB port mentioned in the 400 day old post on this topic was not a choice.

rig is an i9 7900X running at 4.5GHz w/32 GB Ram with an Asus X299 MOBA.

 

Missing Printer Icon in Devices and Printers for some HP models

While setting up a few desktop PCs, I found the icon for some HP printers was combined into the computer icon under Devices. If Devices and Printers is opened, these printers used to be listed under the Printers category in Windows 7. Other HP printers I've
seen are listed correctly in Windows 10 such as the LaserJet 4150. At first I thought the icon was just missing. The printer would show up as a printer in programs such as Wordpad or Excel but would not show up in either the Printers & Scanners modern app
or in Devices and Printers in the Control Panel. I finally noticed that the Computer listed under Devices had these HP printers settings combined into it when you right click it. A picture is worth 1000 words here.



The above shot shows the LaserJet 601M installed. It's listed in Device Manager and as a printer in Wordpad. However, it is not listed under Printers in Devices and Printers with the other 7 printers.



The above shot shows the LaserJet P3010 listed only if you right click on SHIRLEY-DT icon (the computer itself) listed in the Devices category. It is not listed with the other printers. This behavior is not only inconsistent with older versions of Windows
but with other manufacturer's printers and even other models of HP printers. It can not be seen in the above screenshot but, the SHIRLEY-DT icon even has the big, green checkmark on it that is normally associated with your default printer.

 

I am trying to install HP Laserjet 1018 in my desktop computer (Windows 7). This model is not shown in HP printer list..Can anyone help me in this regard

I am trying to install HP Laserjet 1018 printer in my desktop computer with Windows7 . This model of HP printer is not shown on the list. How to resolve this issue. Can anyone help me.
