    Why always I have notifications defender periodic on and you using another antivirus


    Why my laptop notify me defender periodic on and you using another anti virus, on one moment my cpu ram usage high on task manager just one moment before I’m repairing real time protection it’s can’t turn on but is repaired after see tutorial another page, And I see stranger volume name on restore point it’s c++ 2012 I assume that virus, and in onether moment command on cmd it’s stuck like Sfc scannow, dism, chkdsk after restart pc it’s not checking but instantly booting wierd, pleas help me all this problem come after I’m install strange software on internet, and than I’m not using any anti

    Bug: Notifications Remnants & Defender Off After Antivirus Uninstall


    This seems like a bug or, at least, messy leftovers.

    I uninstalled Bitdefender Antivirus but it is still showing up in the list of apps to show notifications for.

    The Windows Defender services have not started back up either and the settings page is greyed out.

    I'm not worried about Windows Defender, I expect I can get it running if I wanted to, just thought I'd point this out.

    I would like to get rid of Bitdefender in the notifications list though. Anyone know of a safe registry hack for this?

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

    Defender AntiVirus

    There are 4 options under Defender. Two refer to AntiVirus; AntiVirus Network Inspection Service & AntiVirus Services. Under Startup Type these two are listed as manual and the Status column said Inspection Service is running. When I clicked on the Start
    button in Properties, I got an immediate message: "Win.. Def.. Anti.. Serv.. on local comp.. started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."
