Windows 10: Why am I being asked to verify my identity daily and sometimes more than once/day?

Every morning I have to verify my identity to access my account and sometimes more than once/day. This is a new issue, as I've had this account on the same laptop for 8 months.

Hi,

I purchased a new laptop and its asking me to verify my identity.

My problem is my old laptop died, so I don't have access to the information I had re my microsoft account.

The time expired for me to verify and now I can't progress past "Verify your identity" (I am wanting to throw the computer out my window eek)

"Windows need to verify your identity" message nearly daily

On my Surface Pro 4 I receive a message in the Action Center nearly daily that Windows needs to verify my identity. I click, it takes me over to my user account in in System, and I click a verify button.

Any idea what's causing this and how to prevent it? I don't run into this on other Windows 10 devices.

Verify your identity oln this PC

Being ask to verify my identity, since the last update - Creators Update - it no longer accept the remain letters for the email or the numbers for the mobile phone on the PC

As a result it no longer sync ...

Any suggestions?
