Windows 10: Why am I getting a notice that my OS's Activation will expire soon on this machine?

When I sign-in to my Microsoft Account on this device PC Name: Desktop-OranPC2, a message appears on the screen. The message reads: “Your Windows license will expire soon. You need to activate Windows in Settings.” The problem with that statement is that I don’t know how to do that.

I am totally confused now. When I purchased this PC about a year ago, Windows 10 was pre-installed, and I was not given any information that the pre-installed Operating System Windows 10 Pro would expire.

I own another device PC Name: Desktop-MitchPC1, that I purchased about 18 months ago, and it also had Windows 10 pre-installed. I have not had any activation problems on the “MitchPC1” computer. If Re-Activation is necessary for the “OranPC2”, please send me the detailed instructions for accomplishing the Re-Activation.

I checked the Settings on both computers and found a difference in the comments concerning Activation. On “OranPC2” reads: “Windows is activated using your organization’s activation service.” The activation comments for the “MitchPC1” computer reads: “Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft Account.” I think the comments reveals the cause of the problem. I think that the OS on the “Desktop-OranPC2” should have been activated using a digital license linked to my Microsoft Account. I don’t know how to do this. Would you please give me the necessary instruction and assistance to get “Desktop-OranPC2” activated properly? For your information, both PCs are owned by me personally, and are used in my home. I am not a part of any organization.

How to stop activation expiration impending notices

I updated my windows ten today and started getting these notices that my windows 10 os was going to expire soon. I went to settings, update security activation and saw that it was still activated. What can I do to make sure I am updated and activated?
