Windows 10: Why am I getting this error message when trying to download a windows 11 ISO?

I'm going to build a new pc pretty soon and thought I would just make my own download of windows 11 to use. I tried downloading the ISO and I keep getting this error message, "We are unable to complete your request at this time. Some users, entities and locations are banned from using this service. For this reason, leveraging anonymous or location hiding technologies when connecting to this service is not generally allowed. If you believe that you encountered this problem in error, please try again. If the problem persists you may contact Microsoft Support – Contact Us page for assis

Error message when trying to download windows 11 .iso file

I've tried from all 3 of my Microsoft accounts to download the windows 11 .iso file. I need it to reinstall on my computer that's not working from a bootable usb. I just need my accounts to be unblocked or whatever is stopping me from downloading. The error message reads like this,

and I can't get the page to move to read the rest of the message.

Error when mounting ISO files

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



I understand when you are trying to delete/rename/move the ISO files after mounting it you get an error message. It could be possible that the ISO file is mounted and that is the reason you are unable to modify it.



I suggest you to eject the ISO file and then try to modify it. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + E, to open
   File Explorer.
   
2. Click on This PC on the left pane, you will find the mounted ISO file.
   
3. Right click on the ISO file and click on Eject. Try modifying the ISO file now.

What are the checksums/hashes for Windows 11 Version 22H2 ISO?

If you want to download the ISO locally, use #2. To upgrade the OS, you can use #1 or #2.

Regarding the commands for Windows 10, what errors are you seeing?

Try the steps in this article.

• Step 1) Mounting the WIM Image
  
• Step 2) Query if an Enablement Package is installed
  
• Step 3) UnMounting the WIM Image
  

Edit: If "Package_for_KB5015684" is shown in the listing as "installed", then the ISO is a Windows 10 22H2 ISO.
