Windows 10: why am i having ping spikes in fortnite?

I have pretty good internet. i Average 300 mgbs download and 150-200 upload speed. I have every in game graphic setting turned down. ive watched like a 100 different videos to see if anyone else has the problem. I average 15-20 ping usually but then all of the sudden i spike to 90-150 and i completely lag ive changed every setting and ive wiped my computer multiple times. i dont know what to do. 2 weeks ago i had great internet ive got back on driver updates but these past weeks this has come up as an issue its not my pc specs.

Thanks for the swift reply.

Yes, I've gone through all the steps of checking and reinstalling my wireless adapter drivers, with no help. Also, it's not a hardware issue, as I have a Fedora 37 system installed via dual-boot. On Fedora, I get no latency spikes at all.

I came across a post here (Windows 11 Ping Spikes) that really sounds similar to my issue, but the possible solution did not fix my problem.

Dan, I gave you everything possible to try for ping spikes. Please open each link and perform the steps in it. If you need any help just ask back, but please do not skip any steps as we often find the skipped step was the fix.

You seemed to want to go back to Windows 10 so I explained how to do that if you want and still keep Windows 11. That's something for you to consider, and if you want to do it I can help you further.

But for now let's focus on the ping spikes now that I have given you every available fix for that in Windows 11.
