  1. Why am I having to always run SFC /Scannow then restarting computer, every other day!

HelloI am wondering what is wrong with my Windows 10 Pro desktop . It is only a few months old, but it has Windows 10 Pro 64bit installed, as I am still not very comfortable with feedback about Windows 11 although I do have a licensed copy of that too, I just have not installed. About a month ago, my computer started to freeze on file explorer , and refuse to let me even navigate to folders until some background operation was being performed that took ages!@. I can not tell you waht that was, because I am blind, and the only reason I know it was happening, is because my NVDA Screen read

  2. Computer Restarted While Sfc /Scannow Running

    Hello,

I was wondering if it is bad if I restart my computer while a sfc /scannow command was running. This happened today and I was wondering if this could cause any damage to my system.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

sfc /scannow "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service"

    Hi,

Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service is an error which may occur if you are trying to run the System File Checker tool (SFC /SCANNOW) to scan and repair Windows system files. To resolve this error, we suggest that you follow the
    steps below:

    • Press the Windows + R keys to open run command box.
    • In the run command box, type services.msc, and press
      Enter.
    • In the list of services, double click the Windows Modules Installer service.
    • Set the startup type to Auto, and click OK.
    • Restart your computer.
    • After the restart, you'll be able to run the sfc /scannow command without any problems.

We would appreciate it if you could get back to us and provide us your feedback.
