Why am I seeing messages from copilot, despite having turned it off?

1 Inasmuch as I have turned off copilot on my computer, why when I open a blank Word document am I seeing the message "Select the icon or press Windows+i to draft with Copilot"? See screen capture, below. Am I not saying "No" correctly or is Microsoft decided that I don't really mean it?2 If I were to ask Copilot for help, who would have rights to use the content, just me or me and Microsoft?

    :)

None of the methods to disable Copilot work, can't even hide it

I suggest you post your question in the tutorial thread to find out if Brink or the other tutorial participants can help you Enable or Disable Copilot - TenForumsTutorials Best of luck, Denis

  3. Copilot randomly got removed from taskbar options.

    Hello,

I can understand how frustrating it is when an essential feature like copilot disappears unexpectedly.

Here are few steps to fix this issue.

    1. Open Settings.

      Click on Personalization.

In Taskbar, check if the Copilot toggle is off. If so, turn it on.
    2. If Group Policy Editor isn’t working, try these steps:
      • Press Win + R, and enter gpedit.msc.
      • Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
      • Look for any policies related to Copilot and ensure they’re not disabled.
If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you.

    Have a great day!

Problem with a feature on Copilot

    Dear Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report an issue I am experiencing with the Copilot application. Despite using the most recent version of the app, I am unable to access the file upload feature, which is essential for my usage.

I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success:

    • Reinstalling the app
    • Checking for any updates
    • Ensuring a stable internet connection
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? I rely on this feature for important tasks and would appreciate any guidance or solution you could provide.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

    Best regards,
