Windows 10: why am i suddenly unable to scale down a print job in windows 11

Hello,The problem occurs no matter where I'm printing from eBay labels, PDF doc, Google doc, print from within File Explorer, etc.In the print dialog pop-up box, where you can see the print preview, along the left sideyou can scroll down to "Scale %". As soon as I choose any percentage less than 100%,the print preview disappears -- shows a blank white page -- and if I then print, it prints nothing.I have reset deleted and reinstalled my printer, checked that updates and drivers are up to date.I am running MS Windows 11 Version 22H2 os build 22621.2426.Thanks in advance for any input y

custom scaling documents for printing in windows 10.

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

• How you trying to scale the documents?
• Which application you are using for scaling the documents.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps.

1. Press control key + p.

2. Now select the number of pages you want to scale while printing.

3. Click apply.

4. Now click on print.

Please try the above suggestions and let us know the status of the issue.

 

Windows print problem. Every Time! Printer prints job, but on PC it still says "Printing" and no additional job will print.

This happens EVERY time.

It happens on two different printers on two different networks (at home and at work)....so it is a WINDOWS problem, not a PRINTER problem.

Send a job to the printer.

It completes and prints JUST FINE. All is well.

THEN==>>

In the printer window for that printer, it continues to say "Printing" (forever!) even tho the job has successfully completed. If i highlight the job and "Delete" it, it says "Deleting"....forever. No other print job sent will print, as they are all blocked
behind the job that has already successfully printed, and that cannot be manually deleted, either.

So, EVERY TIME the queue must be manually cleared out. The only way i can print another job is a 3-step process

• Go to Services, Stop print queue.
• Go to PRINTERS folder, delete all files.
• Go back to Services, and START print queue.

After those three steps, I can print again...exactly one print job...then it happens the same again for that job. Obviously this is a complete hassle.

I would like specific and definitive instructions not on how to now get WINDOWS to work "normally"...so that when a print job successfully prints and is done, the queue for that printer shows as empty, and so more print jobs can be sent.

If this were a very intermittent occasional problem it might be tolerable. But it happens EVERY TIME with EVERY PRINTER.

Print scale not matching preview

After setting the print scale in the Windows 11 print dialog, printed web pages on my HP Laserjet 1022 have suddenly started printing at a smaller scale than depicted in the preview. It has been fine up until today. MS Print to PDF works fine, printing as depicted in the preview.
