LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied.

I am trying to share a folder on a LAPTOP. I have other a number of other systems that have folders Shared and they work fine, but with this one I get the error "LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied." when I try to access it from a different Win10 system. So I went thru the entire "How to Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10" tutorial step by step. File and Print Sharing is enabled, SMB1.0 client & server are running, and Everyone has Full Access to the Share. Still get the error. I have tried it with the Network Public and Private, with the same result. Any suggestions ? Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042

I suggest you to follow the below steps to provide permission to the folder and check if that helps.

Steps to give permissions to the drive:

• 
  Right-click on the folder which you’re unable to access and select
  Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Security tab and under
  Group or user names click on Edit.
  
• 
  Click on Add and type Everyone.
  
• 
  Click on Check names and then click
  OK.
  
• 
  Select Everyone and under
  Allow select Full control and click on
  Apply and Click Ok.

Windows 10/Word issue

I did this. When I got to step 15, an error message came up saying that an error had occurred, listing various files and that access was denied. I clicked OK as these varoious error messages came up and got back to the start position. I opened Word
and tried it - the same problems occurred so I cannot open old documents to edit them because they still open as read only and I cannot save new documents. Any other suggestions?
