Windows 10: why am i unable to change the startup type of this service

Hello, i am unable to change the startup type of the: TextInputManagementService. it's all greyed out, and i am unable interact with the service in any way.I would like to change the startup type of this service, please help.

WPDBUSENUM "Device install requested" Change Services Startup type?

Had some issues with my Epson scanner. After uninstalling and re-installing drivers I ultimately ... got it working again.
Ultimately: after many attempts and re-installs of the software.

I also encountered some weird error "unable to receive data" E581 - B319.
There are a lot of hits when searching for this error but hardly any decent solution.

Checked out the device manager - portable device, where (USB) Epson is listed with a driveletter.
R-click properties > tab Events shows

Maybe it has something to do with WPDBUSENUM.DLL ? (available in windows\system32 folder ?)

Question: should I set 'Startup type' to 'Start'?
No idea to be honest...

Any suggestions?

Windows Defender disabled and is unable to start


OK. I am not sure if you can complete the steps below.......................
In the search box, type services.msc > Enter
Items in the Services box are listed alphabetically.
Scroll down to Windows Defender Service...........................
at Status heading, it should be.................................... Running
at Startup type, it should be......................................... Automatic







If that is not what yours said, right click at Windows Defender Service > click Properties >
can you change the Startup type to Automatic and Service status to Start ?
If yes, do so and click OK when done.
