    HyperSLI (Enabling SLI on non-sli motherboards)

    To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

    Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
    in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
    then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.

    "Unfortunately, this apparently simple change has had severe consequences for some users of Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1, with users reporting that Windows Update, drivers from both Nvidia and AMD, and some third-party software including Virtual Box are all unable to install correctly.     FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

    They made it part of the WU client then, or it's two different things doing the same. Too bad you can't download it separately.
