Windows 10: Why am I unable to install video drivers on my computer?

Hello, I am using a Windows 10 Acer Computer with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 graphics card. The computer is the Acer Nitro N50-600-EB11.I was trying to update my graphics drivers earlier, due to some programs not running with my current version, when the drivers suddenly failed to update. I tried a few more times, all with the same result, before deciding to do a clean install which would delete my old drivers and install the new one. However, the install failed again and I now have no video drivers on my pc, and I am unable to install even the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. In fact, the enti

No video after installing Windows10

This issue might be because of corrupted graphic drivers.

I suggest you to run the video troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in search and click
  Troubleshooting.
• In the left pane click on View all
• Select Video Playback.
• Follow the prompted steps to troubleshoot this issue.

I suggest you to update the graphics card drivers/display drivers from manufacturer website and check if it resolves the issue.

• Open Device Manager.
• Expand ‘Display Adapter’.
• Locate the display driver.
• Right-click on the display card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’

If issue still persists, I would suggest you to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it works.

Follow the steps provided below to install the drivers in compatibility mode:

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select Windows operating system from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

Unable to install printer drivers on Windows10 64bit Pro

Unable to play videos in Windows 10

Please answer the below questions:

• How are you trying to access the videos?
• Do you get any error message or error code?
• Does this happens with all video formats you have? Or with specific format of video?

I request you to try the following steps:



Uninstall and Reinstall the Graphics Card Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
Drivers

• 
  Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
  
• 
  Search for the Graphics Card
  from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
  from the computer.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.
  

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.



Update Driver Software from the Manufacturer’s website:



Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.
