  1. Why am I unable to scan documents with Windows 11

I am unable to scan with Windows 11 after I have updated windows on my computer. I already contacted Brother Printers for the scanning issue but they informed us it is a Windows issue not a Brother issue. What can be done to solve this problem so my work scanner can be fixed?

  2. scanned documents

    Hello,

By default, scans are saved in a Scans folder inside the Pictures. Here are the steps on how to get there:

    • Press Windows and type pictures
    • Click Pictures and double-click the Scans folder.

Furthermore, we suggest that you repair your Word application by following the steps on this

    link
    .

Let us know how that turned out for you.

Unable to scan documents using Cannon Pixma MP 550 printer

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are unable to scan the documents without ink in the cartridges. Please reply to the following questions to help you further:

    • What is the complete error message that you receive when you try to scan?
    • How are you trying to scan the documents?

However, you can try resetting the ink detection and see if that helps in resolving the issue. To reset the ink detection press and hold the Stop/Reset button on the printer for 5 seconds, once you hear an alarm sound release the button. Now, you will
be able to scan the documents.

Alternatively, I suggest you to install the latest software from
    Cannon website
    and try scanning the documents.

Please reply with the status of the issue, we will be glad to help you further.
