Windows 10: Why an india credit card is not able to purchase Windows 11 Professional edition

Why does Microsoft india website does not accept an India credit card for purchase of Windows 11 Professional edition upgrade?

Can't purchase apps on phone, adding credit card...

I have the exact same problem as heatherko.

Tried the 4 steps above and when I sign in to billing.microsoft.com I can see my credit card properly listed as a payment method.

But I cannot see it from zune.net, nor can I use it to purchase anything on marketplace as it keeps telling me there is no credit card on file.

Please try to sort this out. It is a very frustrating problem.

 

Not able to purchase in Windows store India

I am using a Lumia 950 in India. I have previously made many purchases in Windows store with my debit card. Recently I am unable to purchase anything every time i try its throwing an error saying payment not authorized. I have also tried using other debit/credit
cards facing the and issue. Kindly do the needful.

 

Credit Card Problem

You are old school as you can just as easily activate a credit card online. Of course they'll be security measures in place to make sure you are you *Wink

• Example: Activate your Bank of America credit card online (Bank of America)

And no, you don't "have to go online" to activate.
