    Why application error 0xc00007b is only in one drive?


    So to start with , I have a SSD and an HDD as my storage, SSD is my C: drive and HDD has 2 partitions i.e, E: and F: drives. So ive been using AfterEffects for like 1.5 year which is installed in my E drive and got no problem with it, its been 3 months since ive used the app, and today i just started it , but instead of starting , it showed me application error 0xc00007b, I watched some video and read a little about the error and found out it is due to corrupted files or missing dll's, I dont know why it suddenly occured to my brain to change the location of the AfterEffects so I changed it to

    Did you read all the reply's from the people that had that error msg?? 70% of them are saying that "fix" did NOT Work .... Why application error 0xc00007b is only in one drive? :)

    Hi all, please help me with this Error 0xc00007b “Application was unable to start correctly”

    I get this response when I attempt to install SmartFTP on my laptop. I have tried all the various suggestions without success, thanks in advance.

    Also is there a Microsoft source where I can obtain the DLL files etc from a reputable provider?
