Windows 10: Why Apps, files and exe button are missing?

Hi, there windows users. I would like to ask you guys a question. How to fix apps, files and exe Open button that is missing? Even i can't use Google, Mozilla FireFox, Opera, etc. The only browser i can use is Microsoft edge but there is a requirement. I can't just run Microsoft Edge by clicking the logo, so what i do is: Click on the Windows Search, then type "Internet e" or "Internet Explorer" then enter so i can run the browser.The only apps that i can only open now are Steam and WPS Office. But the same thing again but in a different way. I have to Click on the games that i have installed

Missing .dll file .

I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if it helps resolve the issue.

• Uninstall all those apps (using revo uninstaller) which are giving you msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files missing error
• Open the link below

And download and install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4.

3. Download VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe if you’ll be installing this on Windows 10 64bit.

4. Download VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe if you’ll be installing this on Windows 10 32bit.

Start button missing

I suggest you to perform the below troubleshooting steps and check.

Method 1: Run the SFC.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
  

Method 2: Run the DISM Tool.

If the issue persists, I would have you run the DISM tool to check the system health and will try to restore the files.

• 
  Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following commands. Press the
  Enter key after each command:
  

• 
  DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
  
  
• 
  DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  

c. To close the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type
Exit, and then press Enter.
Note: The tool might take 15-20 minutes to finish running, so please do not cancel it.

Missing apps: Store, People, Photos, Games & Camera on upgrading to 10

Thanks for replying spunk. That's the 'alphabetical' list I was referring to, none of these apps are in that 'All apps' list. Any more suggestions?
