Windows 10: Why are all not including microsoft owned apps in my windows search box show the three...

I recently factory reset my computer and haven't found the fix. I have tried clearing my icon cache, dism with sfc, and some other fixes but I haven't found the fix. I think I just pressed "sign in" in the settings somewhere and this started occurring. This issue also prevents me from running those apps in administrator through the search box.As you can see, I am missing the options from this app like run as Administrator. I have tried changing my search indexing options, but, unless I did it wrong, I haven't fixed it still. I am debating if I should factory reset my computer again. I have j

Windows 10 Search box

Which instructions are you suggesting I missed? There is no search icon. Right clicking the taskbar shows no search option. The "small characters" or icons trick did nothing. The regedit thing:
Follow these steps to turn on the hidden search box:

• Open regedit
• Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search
• Inside the search key, create the new DWORD value named EnableSearchBox and set it to 1
• Restart your computer or simply Explorer Shell

Did not give me a search option that I can find.

So in at least MY version of windows 10 there is no search box I can find that will allow me to search my own computer to find possible misplaced files.

So what are the instructions?

 

W10 search box shows suggestions - cannot be removed

after the latest Windows 10 update (from 20H2 to 21H2) the suggestions list in the Windows 10 search bothers me.
Attached are 2 pictures of how it looks after and before the update.
Is there any way to remove them? I already tried it with W10 Privacy, but without success.
These are not app suggestions that can be disabled. The problem has occurred since the latest update, so it shouldn't be too familiar. One is before and one is after the update ("Vorschläge" means suggestions):
