  1. Why are files I never uploaded to the cloud appear to be on the cloud?

I do not want my files on the cloud and I have only selectively saved files there. It now appears that Microsoft is uploading things to the cloud that I never wanted them to do. How do I stop this! I only want 10% of my files on the cloud, and 90% of my files I want only on my local computer or local backup hard drive. What kind of privacy protection does Microsoft provide?

    :)

  2. Video uploading not working to the Cloud

I am trying to upload a short 2-minute video to the cloud and it is taking forever. I have tried twice already and I keep getting the spinning icon. Any suggestions on how to help this?

Video uploading not working to the Cloud

    Hi Faye,

There may be some requirements that have to be met for you to be able to upload the video file to the cloud successfully. Allow us to clarify some details so we can properly isolate the concern.

    • Are you trying to upload the video from your computer to OneDrive?
    • What is the file type of the video?
    • What is the size of the video that you were trying to upload?
    • Have you tried uploading a different video file just to check if it would go through?

We will wait for your reply.

    Regards.

How to Transfer Files Cloud to cloud

Hi James. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

You can install both on the same PC and simply copy them over from the source cloud Explorer folder to OneDrive Explorer folder.

Otherwise you can download them from the source cloud's website to your OneDrive folder.

Whichever you choose I would do them in pieces of whichever size that copies the smoothest.

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.
