Windows 10: Why are my A and D keys not working when i play a browser game?

As you can see, i am typing right now with my a and d keys. However, when i am playing a browser game the a and d keys do not work on the game and do not affect the game at all. Why is this happening? i have restarted and it has not been fixed. Thank you.

• What is the make and model of the computer?
• Is the issue specific when playing games? Are you able to use the
  W,A,S,D keys while typing?
• Did you make any changes to the keyboard layout?
• This issue may arise due to driver conflicts or due to change in game settings.

I suggest you to check if the keyboard supports gaming mode key, if it does, I suggest you to check if the option is turned on.

Also check the game settings and game controllers and make sure that the controller keys are not changed.

BSOD When playing games

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.
